Offering Tailored Solutions To meet your pipe fabrication needs
Made to measure with meticulous detail
We are dedicated to delivering customized pipe fabrication solutions that meet your unique needs. Our expert team ensures every project, from intricate designs to demanding specifications, is crafted to the highest standards.
Project Engineering Process
Every project begins with detailed coordination and quality assurance, ensuring precision at every stage — from receiving isometric drawings to releasing final spools for fabrication.
Document Control
The project begins when ISOs (isometric drawings) are received from the client and logged into the Document Management System.
Detailing
A detailer takes the ISOs and draws them into spool drawings.
Checking
The first round of spool drawings is checked for accuracy against the original ISOs and job specs.
Pickups
Any discrepancies found are noted in checking, researched, and corrected by the detailers.
FPI Double Check Guarantee
A second check is required to ensure that all discrepancies are corrected to ensure full accuracy.
Release
Final spool drawings are released by the engineering manager to the fabrication shop.
Pipe Fabrication Process
The fabrication process ensures precision and quality, starting with material checks and cutting to spec, and culminating in rigorous inspections, coatings, and final shipment readiness. A barcoding system is in place to track each and every spool through the process.
Engineering Release
The fabrication process begins at the point the shop receives final spool drawings from engineering.
Material Control Release
Materials for the project are received, checked, and stored ensuring there are no issues with materials.
Cut
Materials for the project are then cut to spec using spool drawings, this ensures accuracy of materials for fitment.
Fitting and Welding
The first fit of materials is performed, inspected, and moved to final fit.
Checkout
Final fitted and welded spools are checked for accuracy once more against spool drawings.
Examination and Quality Control
If required, spools enter NDE (nondestructive examination) procedure and final quality control is completed.
Coating
If coating is specified, spools move to coating for finishing, which is done onsite.
Final Check
Once coated, spools go through final check, prior to loading and shipping.
Load and Ship
Spools are loaded and shipped to client site.
