  • Office:
    • 5,000 square feet.
    • Office space for shop supervisor, QC and material allocation.
    • Separate QC offices within the office space and on the shop floor.
    • Private client offices for visiting inspectors and expeditors with phone and modem connections.

    • Internet and email capabilities.

  • Shop:
    • 55,000 square feet.
    • 4 bays, 60′ X 450′ with 3 (5 to 7 ton) overhead cranes per bay Alloys and carbon steel are separated by bay.
    • 2 Semi automatic pipe Pantographs with dual plasma arc.
    • 14 fitup stations consisting of:
      • 1 ton Jib Crane.
      • 300 amp welding machine.
      • Plasma-arc cutting machine.
    • 5 automatic oscillating welding stations consisting of:
      • 1 ton Jib Crane.
      • 2 ton positioner.
      • Dual wire-feeder mig machines.
      • 300 amp GTAW welding machine.
    • 2 Subarc welding station consisting of:
      • 1 ton Jib Crane.
      • 3 ton/8 ton positioner.
      • 600/1,000 amp welder.
    • 14 Manual welding stations consisting of:
      • Dual wire-feeder mig machines.
      • 300 amp GTAW welding machine.
      • Alloy welding stations utilize Miller “Synchro-Wave” (square wave) manual TIG welders.
    • Miller “RMD” wire peeler and “cold wire” TIG machines.
    • NDE / QC:
      • 4 QC checkout stations (2 per bay).
      • Outside NDE / X-ray area for efficiency.
      • Adjacent outside hydrotest area.
    • Coatings:
      • 8 acres of painting / coating area onsite with separate paint storage. Painting is performed in-house by FPI personnel.
    • Stress Relieving:
      • Third-party subcontractors perform furnace and/or local stress relieving either on-site or at their facilities.
    • Shipping:
      • Truck – Interstate 55 is within 2 miles of the plant and interconnects with I-10 and I-20.
      • Rail – Railroad siding accessible within 1 mile of the shop.
      • Water – FPI is conveniently located to service 6 ports on the Gulf Coast from Pensacola, Florida to Houston, Texas. It is also convenient to several access points on the Mississippi River, Pearl River and Tombigbee waterway.
